Wie zijn wij?

BSIP.nl is een gratis IP-adres lookup tool, ontwikkeld en beheerd door Bushoff & Stans, de IT-partner voor het MKB en kleinzakelijke bedrijven. Wij helpen bedrijven technologie strategisch in te zetten als fundament voor rust, groei en samenwerking.

Welke gegevens verwerken wij?

Wanneer je BSIP.nl bezoekt, worden de volgende gegevens verwerkt om je verzoek te beantwoorden:

  • Je publieke IP-adres
  • Hostname (reverse DNS van je IP-adres)
  • Remote port
  • User agent (browser- en besturingssysteeminformatie)
  • Tijdstip van je bezoek

Deze gegevens worden direct aan jou getoond en worden niet door onze applicatie opgeslagen in een database.

Server logs

Onze webserver houdt standaard access logs bij. Deze logs bevatten je IP-adres, tijdstip, opgevraagde URL en user agent. Deze logs worden gebruikt voor technisch onderhoud en beveiliging, en worden periodiek automatisch verwijderd.

Dual-stack detectie

BSIP.nl controleert via de subdomeinen v4.bsip.nl en v6.bsip.nl of je internetverbinding zowel IPv4 als IPv6 ondersteunt. Deze subdomeinen zijn uitsluitend toegankelijk vanuit onze eigen website en geven je IP-adres en bijbehorende hostname terug. Er worden geen gegevens opgeslagen.

Deelfunctie

BSIP.nl biedt een "Deel resultaten" functie waarmee je je verbindingsgegevens kunt delen via een link. Alle gegevens (IP-adres, hostname, port, tijdstip, eventuele dual-stack resultaten en iCloud Private Relay status) worden als base64-gecodeerde JSON in een URL-parameter geplaatst.

De gegevens worden client-side verwerkt in de browser van de ontvanger. Er wordt niets opgeslagen op onze servers. Jij bepaalt zelf of en met wie je de link deelt.

Cookies en tracking

BSIP.nl plaatst geen cookies en maakt geen gebruik van tracking, analytics of externe scripts. Je themavoorkeur (donker/licht) wordt opgeslagen in je browser via sessionStorage en verdwijnt wanneer je de browsertab sluit.

Cloudflare

Ons verkeer loopt via Cloudflare voor beveiliging en prestaties. Cloudflare kan technische gegevens verwerken zoals je IP-adres. Raadpleeg het privacybeleid van Cloudflare voor meer informatie.

iCloud Private Relay detectie

BSIP.nl controleert of je IP-adres behoort tot het iCloud Private Relay netwerk van Apple. Hiervoor gebruiken we de openbaar beschikbare lijst met IP-ranges die Apple publiceert. Deze lijst wordt dagelijks automatisch opgehaald en lokaal gecacht. Je IP-adres wordt alleen vergeleken met deze lijst en wordt niet opgeslagen of doorgestuurd. Wanneer Private Relay wordt gedetecteerd, wordt dit zichtbaar gemaakt op de pagina en meegenomen bij het delen van resultaten.

API-endpoints

De endpoints /raw en /json zijn bedoeld voor geautomatiseerd gebruik (bijv. via curl). Dezelfde gegevens worden verwerkt als bij een regulier bezoek. Er worden geen extra gegevens verzameld.

What data do we process?

When you visit BSIP.nl, the following data is processed to serve your request:

  • Your public IP address
  • Hostname (reverse DNS of your IP address)
  • Remote port
  • User agent (browser and operating system information)
  • Timestamp of your visit

This data is displayed directly to you and is not stored by our application in any database.

Server logs

Our web server maintains standard access logs. These logs contain your IP address, timestamp, requested URL, and user agent. They are used for technical maintenance and security purposes, and are periodically deleted automatically.

Dual-stack detection

BSIP.nl checks whether your internet connection supports both IPv4 and IPv6 via the subdomains v4.bsip.nl and v6.bsip.nl. These subdomains are only accessible from our own website and return your IP address and associated hostname. No data is stored.

Share feature

BSIP.nl offers a "Share results" feature that lets you share your connection details via a link. All data (IP address, hostname, port, timestamp, any dual-stack results, and iCloud Private Relay status) is encoded as base64 JSON in a URL parameter.

The data is processed client-side in the recipient's browser. Nothing is stored on our servers. You decide if and with whom you share the link.

Cookies and tracking

BSIP.nl does not use cookies, tracking, analytics, or external scripts. Your theme preference (dark/light) is stored in your browser via sessionStorage and is cleared when you close the browser tab.

Cloudflare

Our traffic is routed through Cloudflare for security and performance. Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address. Please refer to Cloudflare's privacy policy for more information.

iCloud Private Relay detection

BSIP.nl checks whether your IP address belongs to Apple's iCloud Private Relay network. For this we use the publicly available list of IP ranges published by Apple. This list is automatically fetched and cached locally on a daily basis. Your IP address is only compared against this list and is not stored or forwarded. When Private Relay is detected, this is displayed on the page and included when sharing results.

API endpoints

The /raw and /json endpoints are intended for automated use (e.g. via curl). The same data is processed as with a regular visit. No additional data is collected.
